What an incredible end to the year. Each family that came into the studio had something so Unique to bring to their sessions. As you can see there’s no shortage of personality in our clients, a special perk that makes this job so much fun. Our big families came out this season for their holiday portraits, allowing us the privledge of creating heirlooms for the generations to come. New memories were made amongst old familiar faces, with the Farm’s ever present land as backdrop, standing in the portraits as another silent member of the family.
We were witness to a young couple’s new beginnings, sharing a love so warm that they were able to brave the December chill to capture some beautiful shots in the wintry field. There was plenty of fun to be had when it snowed for our pup Tucker as he frolicked and danced between the falling snow flakes. At Unique Image, we LOVE having fun and dressing up to produce some pretty creative sessions, and we love it even more when our clients do too. A classic tweed suit, flat cap, and bowtie are the perfect accessories for an old fashion Christmas portrait. And here’s a secret Unique Image photography tip for capturing the cutest portraits possible: Add kittens!
There’s no way to predict what will happen at the studio on any given day. The excitement of the season overtook some of our more mischievous clients as they “taped” their youngest brother to the wall. While for others it was a time of discipline and grace as they twirled to Tchaikovsky’s Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. The end of 2013 was so much fun for everyone here but it’s a new year and a new energy is being born.
Reawakening, rejuvination, and rediscovery are just a few ways to describe what this new year is offering. We are inviting into the studio and farm opportunities for growth and knowledge as we begin our newest endeavor: Self Healing Sanctuary. With Basic Meditation Classes starting next week, juicing and nutrition sessions, open discussions in a wellness-centered community, yoga classes in late spring, and so much more, we are on our way to providing old and new clients with resources and support for creating their bliss this year.
