Endless Curiosity and Gratitude

Summer feeds our curiosity.

We’re given new smells like honeysuckle, wild roses, and cut grass. New sounds come through our windows at night, like leggy crickets, tree frogs, and wide-eyed owls. Everything is green and bursting with vibrant color.

The day goes by in many stages luster. Early morning dew gathers shiny silver beads on the grass; the noon sun sends ripples of bright light sailing over the water; and dark nights are filled with twinkling fireflies that light up the shadowed trees like Christmas.

There’s so much to behold in this season, and so much to remind us that we are blessed.

Art is a tool for remembering. Live in gratitude, cherish every moment, and make art!
