Walking down the street today, I noticed that the bright morning sun was bringing out a redness in the bare tree limbs. Stepping closer, I saw little red and pink buds forming on the branches. Spring is just about to burst! Officially, spring begins tomorrow at 6:45 PM with the Spring Equinox. The first day of Spring will also bring a supermoon (USA Today).

Pink is so characteristic of Spring. Within the next month the blossoms will be blooming, the little pink noses of baby bunnies will be poking out, and we’ll be here to capture it all. For the first week of April, in anticipation of Easter, we will have our annual peeps so your child can have them in their portraits. Live bunnies and baby animals are availble for portraits, and soon the farm will have the light, soft green of a brand new spring.

It’s a blessing to work in such beauty and to see the changing of the seasons so intimately. The farm is a place to be treasured and we hope you can create amazing memories here just like families have for decades. To schedule your appointment please call the studio (856)478-6990.

What a beautiful day today! It’s such a relief to step out of the house and not have the winter air chill me to the bone. Spring is officially next week (Spring Equinox) and we couldn’t be more excited! Living on a farm for decades creates a real sensitivity to the changing seasons. Recently we’ve witnessed one of the miracles of spring, with Clara our cow giving birth to a healthy male calf.

We’ll have baby chicks (peeps!) just in time for Easter and Spring portraits. And everyone’s favorite little bunny friend Stache will be available to join your child for  their session. The fun, light colors of spring create the most joyous portraits. Easter dresses look absolutely precious in our natural light studio, and with the addition of cut flowers your portraits will truly be one-of-a-kind.

It’s freezing and snowy outside, and we won’t see the gardens in bloom for a couple more months, but that doesn’t mean you have to hold off on your perfect Holy Communion Portraits. Creating beautiful naturally lit portraits is all about the quality of the light. Finding soft, even light is important when composing a flattering portrait. At Unique Image Photography our studio is equipped with long floor length windows that cast the perfect amount of light on our subjects. The window is fabulous for Communion portraits because it provides a delicate light that compliments the white dresses and light colors.
